This once marginally hardy tree is now available for Northern yards thanks to the U of M! A beautiful under story tree, it produces magenta-pink flowers in spring before leaf-out, a perfect way to welcome Spring. This showy ornamental has heart-shaped, dark green leaves which turn a lovely yellow in fall. Plant in part shade to shade, you won’t be disappointed!
